Hi everybody... it's been quite some time since I've written here, despite my own good intentions!  MUCH has happened since my last post over two months ago, including two band camps and a LOT of gigs!  Hopefully I'll be able to get back here more regularly now.  In any case, I have lots of news to share today:

1. Website/Blog Changes - If you're viewing this page at www.themusiciansmind.com, you've already noticed that things look a little different around here.  A couple of weeks ago, I took it upon myself to completely redesign my website (www.ericfrisch.com), and as part of that redesign, I decided to integrate the blog.  Not a whole lot has actually changed - you can still access the page from www.themusiciansmind.com, and the RSS feed hasn't changed.  Since you're here, though, feel free to check out the other sections of the site!

2.  New Music! - At long last, the Secondhand People EP is complete!  I'm really proud of this record, and owe a great deal to Josh Howey for his contributions!  You can download the tracks now from the "Media/Store" section of the site.  The hardcopy CDs have been ordered, but haven't arrived yet, so if that's more your flavor, feel free to preorder, and I'll get it out you just as soon as it arrives!  I hope you guys enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed making it!  Here's a taste of the new record:

Sidenote: I'm hoping to book a lot of shows in November/December to support the new record.  If you think you might be able to help me out by hosting a house concert or promoting a larger event, shoot me an email ASAP on the "Contact" page!

3.  New Band! - I've got a new acoustic cover project up and running now called The Two Guys Band.  We've got a website that you should definitely check out, and if you're in the Columbus region (or anywhere in Ohio, really), look us up for your next party or event!
